victoria and david

March 26, 2010

I can’t even tell you how long we have waited for this wedding. David and Victoria are well featured on our blog so I’m sure they require no introduction. We did their engagement shoot last year and then David thrilled us by using the images as part of their Wedding Invitations. Because we knew David and Victoria and how cool they aare (not to mention they have great taste for everything), we just knew their wedding would not disappoint. From the moment we turned up to Blueridge Lavender Farm and Retreat to photograph Vic and her bridesmaids, we were met with nothing but gorgeousness. Gorgeous flowers, gorgeous dresses, gorgeous bride, gorgeous scenery. Absolutely everything lived up to our expectations.

The ceremony was held at Oceanview Winery, where there is no ocean view but by golly, there is a view and it’s amazing! What a fantastic location for a ceremony and reception and a perfect backdrop for David and Victoria’s Wedding day.

Guys, thank you for sharing your day with us and allowing us the privilege of photographing you again. We hope you enjoy your trip to NY and we’ll talk to you when you get back.

Today we photographed the wedding of Kaycee and Mark.  Kaycee may look familiar to some of our followers and there’s good reason for that.  Last October we also photographed Kaycee’s sister Christie on her wedding day.  I think we can easily say Kaycee was our most orgainzed bride ever!  Never have we photographed a wedding where every last detail has come together so perfectly.  The day ran like absolute clockwork and I don’t think we saw Kaycee look stressed even once.

Kaycee and Mark, thank you for sharing your day with us.  We thoroughly enjoyed shooting another Roofayel wedding and you guys never fail to entertain. We would also like to give a huge shout out to Vicky for taking control with the family shots.  Call us if you’re ever looking for a job Vicky!  Anyway, we hope you guys enjoy the rest of your night and we’ll be in touch very soon

Ps- We must explain the ring shot… Way back when we met Kaycee and Mark for the first time, Kaycee asked us to use their ring shots to show their Aussie/New Zealand partnership (Kaycee is Aussie, Mark is New Zealander).  We think our idea of kiwi fruit and banana to represent their different heritage was pretty clever.
