Yesterday’s wedding took us on a roadtrip to Goomeri, home of the famous Goomeri Pumpkin Festival! Brenda and Dale were finally tying the knot and Brenda had asked us to come out and photograph the event. It was nice to get away from the city for a while and enjoy life in the country. Everything is so quiet and green and charming.
There were a few special spots that we totally fell in love with throughout the day. One was the church that Brenda and Dale chose to get married in. You know those little old country churches? Well this was “just” like that. Another spot was an abandoned butter factory. I think we could have shot there all day had it not been for Dale’s fear of dogs and the somewhat unpleasant stench of something rotting. It made for the perfect location though! Lastly was the reception venue, the Goomeri Bowls Club. We arrived to be met with Retro beauty and when we saw the reception room…well words can’t even explain. Brenda’s sister made all the decorations and they were perfect!
Guys, thank you for a wonderful day. I think we can easily say it was one of the most relaxed weddings we’ve attended so far. Enjoy your one night trip to Paris (Toowoomba for those not in the know) and we’ll be in touch soon.

and *the* church (and the hilarious/confused prist/pastor/church-man-thingy!!!)

seriously, we could shoot at this abandoned Butter Factory all day long!
