We can safely say that judging this competition and coming up with a winner has been way harder than we ever expected. After meeting our third finalists late last week, we looked at each other and both said, “who’s stupid idea was this competition anyway?!?!”. The thought of having to pick a winner was both heartbreaking and impossible. We had come to know these three couples and all of them had wonderfully individual, awesome wedding plans.

In the end chance played no part in who would win. It all came down to the unique details and in these three couples we had three completely different weddings. One had a little rock n roll and a whole lot of style, another was filled with wonderful tradition and was set to give “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” a run for it’s money (Kaliope’s words, not ours, Lol) and the third was filled with 1950’s vintage beauty. So you can see why our decision has been so hard. We truly wish we could have had three winners but unfortunately we just couldn’t.

So… we want to thank everyone for entering what turned out to be a very, very successful competition and although we did find the decision making difficult ( we suck at making decisions at the best of times) the whole process has been a wonderful experience. We are so happy to announce that our winner of wedding photography to the value of over $3000 is…

MEG & LIAM

Tracey & Dave and Kaliope and Greg, Thank you so much for entering and taking the time to meet with us. We loved getting to know you and we wish you all the best for your weddings.

Meg and Liam, congratulations! In the end it was your attention to detail and your totally unique wedding reception that made you the winners. We’ll be in touch very soon and we’re looking forward to working with you both.

Happiest bride ever! That’s the title we’ve given Ashleigh. We walked into the hotel room where she was staying and were greeted with the biggest smile. That smile stayed on Ashleigh’s face ALL day. Not once did we see it leave. She smiled getting out of the car, she smiled walking down the aisle, she smiled at the alter, she smiled walking back up the aisle. All day long she smiled. Simon may not have been as smiley, but it was so obvious that he was just as happy to be making Ashleigh his wife. These two are so gorgeous together and their love for each other was so evident throughout the whole afternoon.

Ashleigh and Simon chose to exchange their vows at the gorgeous Our Lady of Victories Church at Bowen Hills and followed up with a reception at Nudgee Golf Club.

Guys, thank you for including us in your day. We hope you have a fabulous night and we’ll be in touch when you return from your honeymoon.
